Building New Homes Since 2014

466 Works is a not-for-profit community development corporation created to develop opportunities in home ownership and to support community members in their efforts to enhance and revitalize the southeast neighborhood of South Bend, Indiana.

466 Works started as a project of the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and was incorporated in 2014. The 466 mission statement is “to revitalize the southeast neighborhood of South Bend in order to enhance the lives of all residents in the community”. The mission is fulfilled by the construction of new homes on vacant lots in the area and through collaboration with other organizations.
